Summary: Good quality, great price
Comment: I received this today (quickly shipped and well packed.) I'd been looking for a new tabletop fountain because my cat had become accustomed to drinking from one, I like the sound, and my other one had broken. I looked at literally dozens of fountains and decided on this one because it is made of real, glazed ceramic, as opposed to the "alabastrite" or resin fountains out there. There is great detail in this design, as well. Each successive "pitcher" has designed-in "wear" where the water hits it from above, and the sound is gentle. This is good quality ceramic, and comes with a small separate pump, as opposed to other fountains (including my old one) where the pump is built in, meaning that there's no way to replace the pump, or clean it without taking the whole fountain to the sink. I'm very pleased with this item, and acehardware was very quick with shipping and communication. The color is not really burgundy--it is more of a brown with pink flecks, very nicely glazed. Although it's made in China, it is not the junk many made in China items have become.
